The most amazing experience and location, we travelled in December - cold air and snow, and then a relaxing stay in the best facilities, you have a choice of so many saunas and classes (mint and honey were 2 favourites) and then inbetween sessions you can dip in the cold lake followed by outdoor hot tube session Be brave, the textile free is so fun and freeing - everyone is so respectful! We have made it an annual winter tradition

Best Spa area we ever had and we did quite a lot so far. You have many possibilities, many saunas, pools and chilling rooms. In the saunas are periodically infusions that are really good. Some of them with scrub or ice. In addition to that there are many rooms for relaxing, some with live music or water beds or other specials, all of them very quit and good to relaxe. We were there for 4 hours and could spent more time in there. Next time we will surely spent a whole day there. In the restaurant we tried the caesers salad and that was also very delicious. All in one it was a very nice and special experience we would highly recommend.

Wow, this completely surpassed all my expectations! As a Canadian, I was blown away by the size of the place - many pools, saunas and lounging areas with a variety of great relaxation options. The general layout of the spa is impeccable and it was the perfect spot to celebrate my partner's 40th birthday. While we thoroughly enjoyed the pools and steam rooms, one of the standout parts of our experience was the amazing staff; while we were eating, our server Melanie surprised my partner with a birthday drink and dessert, which took the experience to a whole new level. She was so fun, kind and we had a great time chatting about Germany in general. As well, we thoroughly enjoyed talking to another staff member named Charlotte, who talked about life at Vabali and informed us about the various steamroom ceremonies that she sometimes hosts. Fantastic energy and all around, a 5-star experience. Will definitely come back!

By far the most impressive spa we’ve ever visited—it truly feels like a spa mecca. With numerous saunas, pools, and plenty of cozy spots to unwind, relaxation is effortless here. We especially love the unique spa “ceremonies,” something we’ve only ever experienced in Germany before. This was our second stay at the hotel, and we would happily return again. Our only minor suggestions: several reading lights were broken and could use repair; the restaurant food was decent but could be elevated though dining isn’t the main draw here; and it would be helpful to have a designated place to dry towels.

This place is perfect mini getaway from the city without really leaving the city. It was one of the most relaxing and luxurious experiences I've ever had. They offer many places to relax, sleep or meditate and the saunas were amazing. So many areas and programs to choose from. The place is massive, organized, clean and really well-maintained. The ambience feels really like you're in Bali. Would definitely come back again.

The hotel room is lovely and comfortable. Most important, though, is the proximity to the wonderful spa. By staying overnight you can easily enjoy the evening saunas, including the late night dream sauna. Heavenly. Breakfast is included and is a feast.

I had a wonderful experience at Vabali Spa Hamburg. The entire facility feels like a peaceful Balinese retreat just outside the city, with beautiful architecture, warm wooden interiors and a very calming atmosphere. The spa area is impressively large and offers a wide variety of saunas, steam baths and pools, making it easy to spend several hours relaxing without feeling crowded. The different sauna infusions and relaxation areas were particularly well organized and added to the overall wellness experience.  What stood out most to me was the attention to detail: everything was very clean, well maintained and designed to create a tranquil environment. The staff were professional and friendly, and the entire place is clearly run with a high standard of quality. If you are looking for a place near Hamburg to disconnect from daily stress and fully recharge, Vabali Spa is definitely one of the best wellness destinations I have visited. I would happily return again.
